Hi Frank,

I've added this topic to the ever-growing list of prospective topics
for the future. Right now the focus is to provide ideas and "food for
thought" for prospective operators whose low band experience may be
limited to 80 or 160m. In 2018 and moving forward there will be more
wiggle room for focused topics like this one.

73!

For the antique and classic era radio aficionado I see this mod as providing countless hours of good old radio fun! Even without the paralleled capacitor mod for 166 KHz, the other mods for power supply enhancement certainly allows the owner to preserve the basic radio design while "wringing-out" the best of the period's RF design performance.

Maybe even KB5NJD might consider featuring this write-up in his CQ(?) Magazine column?
