[600MRG] Daytime reception

Gentlemen:

     We have seen occasional long-distance reception
during the daytime since we started the 500-kHz experiment.
It happens in the winter and mostly in more northern
latitudes.  What is happening is that the D layer is not
getting heavily ionized and sky-wave signal is able to
make it through at useable levels.
