[600MRG] Some things & WD2XSH/6 tonight

First WD2XSH/6 is QRSS3 on 475.322KC until after the Saints game when I will
look for QSOs.

Second

I am also my own stubborn worst enemy.

In the saga of failing and repairing PCs I got an IOGEAR switch that allowed
me to run two computers from the same keyboard and monitor.

The powered-by-USB-switch was my main source of the S9+ QRN.

I found it last night. No amount of ferrites will cure it. Disconnecting
either computer or the monitor did not stop it, I had to disconnect both
computers.

So the old, slow Compaq will resume it's role as an on-the-shelf spare, not
the hot-spare.

I was tempted to sell it at next week's hamfest, but that is a really dirty
trick, and I'll forgo it.

Third,

There is still a popping noise punching holes in my reception, probably from
a power pole, so I can speed up the QSO CW, but not so fast that I miss
entire letters.

I also need to deal with the tankless water heater power supply.

Does anyone know what happened to SHMRG ?

Updates to the who-dat file keep coming in, If you did not get a copy to
check or correct let me know.

If there are active stations not on it, let me know.

Otherwise I will send it one more time (final for this winter) next week.

Has anyone discretely got some recent feedback from the sequestered FCC
about the 630 meter band or 137KC ?

I don't want to use my uncoordinated way to ask and upset the wrong people.

73,

Pat /6
