Please take a look at the work we put into www.500kc.com. 
There is a book near the bottom of the technical section on low frequency antennas. 
It will help you decide what antenna would be good for your site. 
It does not cover transmitting loops, because at the time it was written the frequencies were used for high-power broadcasts.
Don't believe the salesman unless he is a qualified broadcast engineer, every site is different and every antenna system will be different.
