[600MRG] 600MRG Digest, Vol 78, Issue 44

From what I dig out of the article, the tower base is @ ground and the
smaller down leads are fed from the bottom through a tuner, an L network
would do fine... In this case the tower and wires are anything but
50+/-J0...  Must measure...

Before the end of this season I will pull all coax leads in to the
shack, hook them together and look at the Z, then prepare a network and
try on air...

But the wire loop here is nearby the 72' tower with it's antlers so it
may be near optimized already... The tower is slightly to the northeast
of the loop so that may account for some gain in that direction...

More real and closer is to erect another loop in the near field of the
present one, resonate and then see if RR or DX changes...

Then place second parallel loop in close @ near critical coupling, but
first must clean out some surplus noise and help RX..

Too much fun and not enuf time every day...  DaveR  QRV JT9  ( when is
best time for JT9? ) JT9 reflector not working...
