/I use a bunch of NE-2 neon lamps in series on a plastic stick.. With a 
little power the bulb closest to the antenna voltage point lights up, 
and with a little more power then the next one lights and so on.. W1TAG 
has a nice RF ammeter project on his web site so I check resonance with 
the neons against where maximum current that is on the feedline... Since 
you are using a Tesla coil antenna then try the bulbs on the far side of 
the vario and the RF ammeter at the input of the vario... I'm using a 
loop with no feedline and the varicap is here in the shack... Hope this
