Sorry - I must have missed some traffic. I didn't see the earlier messages identifying . I'll listen for this signal.
I suppose it is possible that someone is testing an NDB beacon AM transmitter - they use MCW mode. If so you should hear the CW on either side of the main carrier when listening with a BFO on. Even if the output were fed into a dummy load I could imagine a rig might throw significant RF into the power feeder and radiate some signal.
WA4SZE's licensed address is Manchester, Tennessee. A Google search shows he is interested in beacons - there's discussion of a few years ago regarding a 30m beacon station that transmitted like a old aeronautical system (sending N or A in CW on different angles and when you "fly the beam" you hear a continuous tone). In this case I think the two signals were being sent in opposite directions. I also see indications that he operated an NDB transmitter that was on 529 kHz at a private airport in Tennessee. I also read that he might be involved with shortwave broadcaster WWRB. His email address might be WA4SZE at gmail.com
Sorry if this is old news... figured I might as well share what I found in case it is helpful.
