Sorry - I must have missed some traffic.  I didn't see the earlier messages identifying .  I'll listen for this signal.

I suppose it is possible that someone is testing an NDB beacon AM transmitter - they use MCW mode.  If so you should hear the CW on either side of the main carrier when listening with a BFO on.  Even if the output were fed into a dummy load I could imagine a rig might throw significant RF into the power feeder and radiate some signal.  

WA4SZE's licensed address is Manchester, Tennessee.  A Google search shows he is interested in beacons - there's discussion of a few years ago regarding a 30m beacon station that transmitted like a old aeronautical system (sending N or A in CW on different angles and when you "fly the beam" you hear a continuous tone).  In this case I think the two signals were being sent in opposite directions.  I also see indications that he operated an NDB transmitter that was on 529 kHz at a private airport in Tennessee.  I also read that he might be involved with shortwave broadcaster WWRB.  His email address might be  WA4SZE at gmail.com
