[600MRG] 630 meters receive antenna question

I often use an 8 foot whip in my backyard (positioned away from noise sources in my home and nearby houses) - works great on both MF and HF.  It has a Z1501D Clifton Labs preamp at the base.  
 
I understand that Clifton Labs is no longer in business, but there is still good info on the website:
