[600MRG] WSPR.net problems

Since I've had correspondence with Joe K1JT in the past, I sent him an e mail last night apprising 
him of the problems with WSPR.net ... just in case he was unaware. I also mentioned that folks have 
been offering Bruce both technical and monetary assistance but the offerings have gone unanswered, 
and that the situation is so 'dire' that there is a move afoot to develop an alternate system.

Received an answer from Joe today and it appears that he's been aware of some problems, but perhaps 
not the extent of the problems. Joe understands the value of the database and is interested in 
getting the problem fixed. He apparently tried to get in touch with Bruce via e mail a month back 
without success. Today he is sending Bruce a letter about the situation asking if he would accept 
technical or monetary assistance or perhaps be interested in handing the reins over to others. He 
wants to hear from Bruce before taking alternate action. Since WSPR is Joe's 'baby' it seems logical 
to give him first chance to oversee a fix for the problem.
