I use an i-mic with the PC i have that has no usable soundcard. Intended for
an IPAD but works fine with pc, ipad and android. Only cost $10. Most of the
time it is used to get the I/Q data out of my KX3 into the PC

Subject: [600MRG] USB sound card

I have a new laptop on order but it lacks a microphone input.

I have never used an external USB sound card, but need some advice on what
kind to get.

I would like to feed the monoaural audio output from my Icom R-75 to the
soundcard, and have that audio go into my laptop USB port for decoding WSPR,
QRSS on Spectran, etc.

Do those soundcards have a provision for a headphone jack also?

Thanks for any help,

Steve KK7UV
