[600MRG] Do you feel 630-meters is practical for ham use?

Over the past year or two I'd heard from several who felt content operating or listening-for experimental stations on MF and don't particularly care about general ham access to the band. They considered it too challenging for most hams and thus not worth bothering to pursue opening the band to general ham use. 

But it is good to find that this may be a minority view and that many enthusiasts would like this sliver of MF to be a ham band in the US.  
I would say the vibe right now seems to be in favor of amateur access to 630-meters in the US.
