I thought I would send the details of tonights band activity before bed time so I didnt forget anything.

The band went nuts tonight....

XKA was in on WSPR before sunset..never happens here. Path to west coast from XKA under similar pre-SS condx was non-existent tonight. In fact Pacifc -NW was almost isolated very early on.

CW Q's with XJM and XGP at nice levels...Band was/is quite unstable but in a way that you didnt know what you were going to get...its like Christmas...

RW was good on QRSS3 early on in the evening...disappeared as the night wore on.

WSPR signals were largely in the single digits from a large number of stations on both TX and RX..

XXM was as loud as I have ever heard him...

XND is having a strong 2nd night of system evalutation...I suspect he will make it to XCR on KH6 at very much below his granted ERP.

Mark, WG2XNI, had a nice QRSS3 signal but attempts to complete a 2-ways aural CW Q tonight were unsuccessful. The band was giving us about 2 minutes at random times for big signals on the short hop but that was it... We will get it done...

As I am finishing up this report, I see the noise level is going up significantly. Most of the guys have been commenting about how quiet it was tonight. It was fairly quiet here tonight, certainly more quiet than last night but its starting to creep up quite a bit 0600z...

This report doesn't even begin to do justice.. you just had to be there...
