It is getting more difficult to maintain 24/7 operation. Between family 
commitments, health issues, and unpredictable weather, I've had a lot 
more downtime than I had expected to see.

The latest issue is WX again. It started a couple days ago with some 
heavy wet snow which made the antenna unusable until it melted. After it 
warmed up enough to melt the snow, it was only a few hours before the 
temperature dropped and the freezing fog rolled in.

This morning the top wire and the guy ropes for the 630 meter vertical 
are all coated with 1/2 inch of ice. No hope for any operation until the 
temperature rises enough to melt the ice.

With more snow and freezing rain in the forecast, it may be several days 
before I can resume operations.
