Hi group!

Short eProbe antennas are new to me.

I thought the antenna worked on the "Poor Antenna, but better signal/noise
ratio" principle.
But then I saw Ralph's article:  http://w5jgv.com/e-probe_antenna/index.htm

I have an eProbe and all I hear is noise, noise, noise!

I hear good signals when the band is good, WWV on 25, 20, 15, 10 MHz during
daylight nice and strong.

Someone had told to snip the 4 inch long copper antenna until the S meter
did not move, then the signal / noise ratio would be good when a signal was
present.

Anyone got some common sense for this type antenna - I bought it on eBay
from a WA3IAC chuckwa3iac
<http://www.ebay.com/usr/chuckwa3iac?_trksid=p2047675.l2559>
on eBay. He has a small error on the PC board but he tells you how to fix
it.

No connection in any way to his sale, just a happy buyer and would buy
again.
