I've been pretty quiet lately.  I'm hard at work revamping my transmit
antenna to operate on both 630m and 2200m and reworking its ground system.
I don't expect to be transmitting again for another month.  

 

I've also erected a monster (70' height by 150' wide) version of the DK6ED
terminated double loop receiving array featured in March QST.  It should be
large enough to be useful on 137 kHz.  But I still need to install the
transformers and hook up the cables so that's work in progress.  I've been
reporting WSPR signals but in the next few days I'll have to take down that
receiving antenna to accommodate the new one.  No WSPR reports from me for a
while.
