[600MRG] Problem withthe list

Merv,

I can't speak directly the the gmail issue but I found that AT&T/Yahoo email allows one to whitelist emails based on certain criteria. I created a rule for the various email groups I follow based on whether tags like "600mrg", "Topband", or "QRP-L" were listed in the subject line and that seemed to solve the problem for a little while. Perhaps there is a similar solution for Gmail.

More recently I have had a problem with dropping emails from the list entirely. In fact last night when Steve XHY and I were talking on the ON4KST logger he was referencing an email that Pat XCT had responded to regarding amplifier requirements. I never saw the post until I went back and looked at the 600mrg archive page so I've just started doing that as a matter of standard operating procedure to make sure I am up to speed on anything popping up. Looking over the threads in September, aside from the ones that I created, I would say that over half of the others I never saw.

hopefully you have an option to create an exception using the tags in the subject line.

73 and good luck!

John XIQ

Subject: [600MRG] Problem withthe list

It seems a while back some one else had problems with Gmail
dumping all 600M messages to spam?

I have been having the same problem, almost any message from
the list is dumped into the spam file. Is there a solution to this or
is it a Gmail problem, my ISP goes through Gmail, I have contacted
my ISP and no help at all.

Thanks 73 Merv K9FD/KH6 WH2XCR
