[600MRG] WG2XSV <> WG2XIQ on JT9 last night first time

I was fortunate to work Neil, XSV, on JT9 around 0640z this morning.  It was the first time we have connected for a 2-way.


Band was pretty good overall but unlike the previous session, the noise was much higher, much earlier.  It was beyond the normal storm noise in south central Texas, which was easy to null out given Neil's direction.  I think the Friday night/Sat morning session did not show great increases in noise until after 0800z.
