Noticed an interesting event with your signal last night - a gradual drop in SNR over about 30 minutes followed by two hours of no signal. I found the differing responses of various reporters interesting. AC0ZL and /12 saw gradual drops in SNR for about 30 minutes, most of your local "local" customers saw a sudden drop that remained relatively constant until the signal disappeared at 1008Z. KF5JIA showed a sudden drop of 12dB at 0940Z and then gradually recovered 9dB before the signal disappeared at 1008Z


The varying behavior by range seems to suggest the possibility of antenna changes but what actually happened?

One more question; I keep seeing a few reports your signal show up in the middle of the day (12PM to 2PM, 19Z to 21Z). I'm a bit over 500 miles away and this violates most of what I thought I understood about propagation. Does anyone have an explanation?
