 I was pleased to learn that my experimental license has been granted for operation on the 472-479 kHz band.  Callsign is WH2XHY.  

I'm on vacation now but might be able to get on the air with CW in a few days - that rig and antenna are ready to go on 475.0 kHz in beacon mode with the flick of the switch.  For QSOs I'll just need to extend the keying line back to the operating desk for comfortable operation.

Later I should be able to try digital modes.
