[600MRG] XIQ

Morning Neil -

Ive bee playing with the phasing of the K9AYs a bit to reduce the backscatter from the buried dog fence pulsing I get, so, wasnt actually using the K9AY as a single ended cardioid pattern last night - interestingly the L400B/PA0RDTs do very well on MF but (the rarer) West coast QRN was a limiting factor last night - I was able to steer the QRM/N out but still maintain the path to XIQ which is more "East" than "South East"

Snow on the mountain tops, leaves are a fallin' and below freezing in some places here this morning - Winter is a coming....groan.

An interesting comparison between those two antennas. Thanks, Laurence.

XIQ had 10 decodes last night from 0724-0940Z on the K9AY and 8 on the L400B
