[600MRG] Answers, Please

Its rather interesting because aside from minor adjustments to the feed point impedance as dictated by the wx, ground conditions, etc, nothing has changed here since May 1 when I changed out my TX downconverter to use the MF Solutions board.  I can say that sadly, the City of Dallas decided to cut down a forest about 1/4 mile NW of me to build a super Walmart but I doubt those trees were causing too much absorption.  I've not had an official start to the changing of the colors in the landscaping and trees on and around my property so as far as I am concerned its still summer, although it is starting to cool off.

I have observed that the impedance is higher in the fall/winter than it is in the spring/summer but that's a minor adjustment and I have not made the switch to the winter position.  Its actually cold by the time that happens anyway.

My one year anniversary on the band was yesterday so at this point its anyone guess as to a local environmental change that might have contributed to increased performance.  There are certainly more listeners and we are losing about 1.5 minutes of daylight each day right now.

Thanks to all who are listening.  I suppose this time next year we will know if a pattern develops.

Noted a remarkable improvement in reception of  XIQ starting  the other night...(Sept12) previous to that  I received nothing
So maybe just conditions and not a loop laying on the ground :-)
