Concerning SWR metering at MF, I built and am using the M0MBU
bridge - it uses a current sense toroid pickup and consumes no power,
can be left inline continuously.  It was easily calibrated using various
combinations of 1% resistors.  Although not a network analyzer and numb
to reactance issues, it works well here on a system I know presents a
50 ohm resistive j??? load to my TX.  I know in a hurry when something
isn't right out there.
