The Noise was traced to a small 9V Switching P.S. Genesis Science Technology Ltd. Model GT-WACL09000-100-302. It only makes all the MF noise when it is unloaded (But still plugged in). It was powering a little used RCA Digital TV Converter Box. It looks like a Wall Wart but is really a Switcher. Now in the trash. Paul w0rw
