Hi Jim,

Waste no time or $$ on noisy ( rx ) complicated verticals but just take
one piece of wire in a vertical loop configuration with as much area on
the inside of the L' x W' and tune it with a vacuum cap.. Couple to
Tx/Rx with toroid...
This loop is approx 600' around and starts about 8' off the deck with
about 60' vertical runs at each end and about 200' horizontal...
That's all I use here and it tunes right down to 17.2 khz for ( SAQ )
and up to 160m, my best all around antenna in the farm...
Is VERY quiet listening antenna...

I built and tuned and licensed directional AM arrays and know the waste
of time and $$$...

Good luck TX and RX from DaveR, AA1A
