Thanks to all who listened for my 2200m WSPR signal last night. Unexpected rain forced a shut down at about 0530Z.
During the 10 hours of operation, 5 stations decoded my signal with the longest at a bit over 1100 kM. Reported S/N's were somewhat lower than expected. With so little data, I don't know if this was due to propagation or some deficiency in the hardware.
This was a "proof of concept" run and I consider it successful in that it did point out several deficiencies that need to be addressed before going "live". The onset of winter WX is going to limit what I can do outside, so unless I get lucky with a run of good WX, I might not be back on until spring.
Thanks & 73,
Larry - W7IUV
