I am trying out Jim's (W5EST) suggestion on todays 630m blog** using very slow CW at 1w ERP.


Using Argo on CW mode at "slow" speed, see if you can see my beacon. If you are set up to receive with a dial of USB 474.2 kHz, you might see my beacon at the 1000 hz spot on your wsjtx or Argo type software. This is QRSS 1 (one second dits) which is about 1.2 wpm CW.
