[600MRG] 600MRG Digest, Vol 70, Issue 11

Hi Dave:

One final thought on the TP path from New England that's a bit of a
tangent but might make you feel good:

Roger, VK4YB, reported at one point late last year that he was seeing
a WSPR signal on his waterfall where your station was reported to be
transmitting and was consistent with a two-minute period that you were
transmitting. I believe that he also resolved that the same cycle had
no other nearby stations transmitting (w.r.t frequency) so his
observation was likely not a harmonic or some other anomaly. The
signal did not decode but the common thinking is that it was likely
your signal. Thats a very long haul and while I've not run the
numbers against the records that the EU guys are keeping on
472khz.org, it may have been a record had it decoded.

Thats a tough path from the East and I think the other only reports
since I've been keeping track were reception reports of VK4YB by
WG2XJM and WA3TTS last year.

John KB5NJD / WG2XIQ..
