Hello all,

 

Some of you may have noticed your WSPR signal reports from me were much
lower than usual.  I wanted to capture VK4YB so I switched my rx antenna to
the west with the narrow pattern which attenuates signals to N, S and E.  It
worked, I was able to decode VK4YB.  I'm planning on keeping the antenna in
that mode for several days since I think it's helpful to monitor the
trans-pacific path.  

 

I will keep transmitting omnidirectional.
