Greetings everyone

Well, I finally got the antennas at CN98pi back up in the air after things
got torn-up last Fall/Winter. I tuned up the 160-meter Sloping Half-Square
to operate on 475.7KHz with a minimum ground system (~20-ft^2 aluminum
ground plate.) Got a few decodes from wh2xgp and ve7bdq. So I
laid-out six 150-foot #12 copper radials and retuned the antenna - BINGO !
Lots of decodes last night from the same guys - around 8-hours worth.

Using a G0UPL U3S-transmitter with GPS frequency stabilization running
about 150-milliwatts into the tuner. Now I will wait and see if others other
than VE7BDQ and WH2XGP can copy wd2xsh-26 at CN98pi.

A new tool in my shack is the AA-170 antenna analyzer. I accomplished
getting the 160-meter half-square tuned-up on 475.7KHz in less than an
hour.

73 Dick/w7wkr and wd2xsh-26
