I got a report that VE3OT was already on 475.0 in QRSS6 slow CW mode, so I shut down my CW beacon for now.
I was getting 2 amps into the short antenna on CW and maritime transmitter seemed stable. Heat sink was getting warmer than I recall when antenna had the top loading wire.
I'm now running a WSPR beacon on 475.720 kHz. The "carrier-current" amp wants to oscillate on short antenna but I'm trying to keep it stable. With driver gain reduced to stop oscillation I'm making about 0.5 amps into the short antenna .
