[600MRG] RF Thermocouple Ammeters

I seem to recall in the past year or so one or more LF / MF orientated bulletin board entries or web articles discussing RF Thermocouple ammeters.  Do I correctly remember that these meters' scales are graduated in "average" (of the rectified full-wave sinusoid) and not "root-mean-squared," e.g. RMS current?  Thus the RMS current is the thermocouple type RF ammeter's scale indication times 0.7071 divided by 0.63 .
