Correction on the Low Pass Filter, Sorry i made a typo, The design is from John, W1VD, Victor Delta.

The coils/caps don't get hot.

L1 and L3 are 27 turns of solid  #14 THHN on a Amidon T-225A-2 cores.

L2 is 38 turns.

My caps(C1 and C2)  came from an ARC-5, old surplus brown micas, 0.001 MF and a 0.005 MF in parallel,

for a cap of approx. 0.0061 MF.

I don't really care exactly where the cut off falls as long as it is from 550 to 700 kHz.
