[600MRG] WSPR not decoding

I wonder if a SDR receiver's latency can cause problems with WSPR decoding?
 
I have a WinRadio Excalibur SRD which I have yet to use on the WSPR mode, for any band.  It has a time delay (latency? I believe is the term) of around 330 milliseconds. I measured this delay using a 2-channel scope triggered from my hand key.  This delay represents key to transmitter w/o QSK, through the SDR receiver and computer audio system. (The Excalibur uses a computer to perform all sorts of SDR processing, and the audio decoding to drive external loud speakers.) I have tried to use my Excalibur as my receiver and my side tone monitor on CW. UGH, the latency presented all sorts of problems between my fist, ears and mind!  
 
For the time being, my CW and WSPR receiver is my ICOM 746PRO transceiver.    
 
I wonder if a SDR receiver's  latency can cause problems with WSPR decoding?  How much latency can be tolerated when using the WSPR mode? Of course this latency is partially due to the delay imposed by the Internet to the receiving station, and partially due to the specific receiving equipment being used, and the associated timing errors at the transmitting station.  
 
If the Excalibur's latency can cause WSPR decoding problems, I would assume the Flex radio's latency presents a similar decoding problem?
