[600MRG] E-Field Antennas, Continued

Has anyone had experience building this circuit with anything other than a CP666? 

Crystalonics website appears to be dead and I'm not against paying for a high quality JFET, I'd just like to get one that's available.

I would assume empirical data can be more conveniently obtained if the antenna was scaled for VHF instead of LF?
