[600MRG] MF kenwood sensitivity question on QRP-L

Of all the various "modern" transceivers and receivers on my shelves, a unit I found to have unexpectedly good receive performance on 630m is the Alinco DX-70.   

Note that the DX-70 has a couple failure modes which mainly impact transmit output and are hard or exensive to repair.  This causes these rigs to sometimes appear at low prices at hamfests and on eBay.  That's one way to get a cool little general coverage receiver for a reasonable price.

My old favorite Kenwood R-1000 receiver isn't too bad either, but you have to use an alternative MF antenna input on the back.  And it drifts a fair bit from a cold start.
