You will either have to mute the PC system sounds and other applications 
(incl. DX spotting software) while running WSPR, or add an additional 
soundcard.  Depending on your PC motherboard options, an additional 
soundcard could include PCI, USB, or Firewire interfaces, and can 
generally be inexpensive.  K9YC (an audio guy) tested a few cheap USB or 
firewire soundcards for digital modes, but I don't have a reference on 
hand as to his comments on what was best in the batch tested, though I 
do remember that at least a couple performed very well for weak signal work.

Hopefully others have some additional comments.
