what Merv *didn't* tell you here is that he is really converting that Alpha 99 for 630m ;-p

couldn't resist!

Good signals into KH6 last nite Laurence, copied you all the way until
just before sunrise
here, Copied Eric again also, so it was a good night, I had a short
time the wifi dropped
out and a few reports did not go through.
Signals were strong and I think I could have copied CW from John,
certainly the west coast
stations.
Working on transmit here, broke down and bought a AA-54 analyzer on
sale so I can get the
network built for 160/80/600M all use the same vertical.
Had a diversion, a tube shorted internally on my Alpha 99 so had to tear
down and replace,
see another problem developing also so have to get parts in for that.
Always some other
project pops up it seems.

Congrats on Eric and Laurence for pinging my WSPR decodes.

The next morning there was 4 inches of snow on the ground.

The shot is looking East and shows the summit of the Volcano at some 10000ft (my look angle some 15-20deg elevation) in the direct path of XXM and XIQ who I didn't decode. XSH/20, XGP and BDQ skirted the side of the mountain at some 3500ft, and signals were lower but at least I decoded. Compare that to Mervs location which looks like its going to be superb cross Pacific.
