Gentlemen,
     I am a new guy to the 600 meter group and I haven't progressed beyond trying to
listen. I have an ICOM-7700 plus several pieces of vintage gear that cover the
frequencies I see you guys talk about.

     I was wondering what a popular receiver to use might be? The ICOM has a 
serious LF attenuator in it. I have two BC-453s; one with a lo-noise mixer and an
RME-69/LF-90 converter.

    Does anyone use the LF-90 or is that to ancient? Suggestions are solicited.
