yeah last night / this morning was fun. I wish the noise had cooperated so that unofficial "elbow bumping" could have occured with the CG guys on 472...it really was a treat to hear the whispy signal from /12.. as stated earlier, it really was appropriate. I'm going to have to set up a system like XJM that just records everything all the time so I can preserve moments like that. good stuff...

Good morning everyone
It was a good last night hearing ===>
W7WKR
Hearing: VE7BDQ, WE2XPQ, WG2XIQ, WG2XXM, WH2XGP
so many stations plus those transmitting on the "Night of Nights" frequencies. First time AK has been in here I believe.
Dick / w7wkr and wd2xsh-26 CN98pi

I had stopped WSPR for a bit to call CQ in CW around 1000z at 474.5.. heard cw somewhere around 474.2 + but not loud or consistent enough to isolate. never enough or long enough with CW bandwidth.. so I wrote it off as a ghost of NoN.. seemed kinda fitting...

I did copy all of the KPH/KFS/KSM transmissions on the HF bands. Very impressive to copy their signals on 22 MHz an hour after local sunset! I ran WD2XSH/12 on 475.0 kHz in the CW beacon mode throughout the night hoping that the added Night of Nights activity would result in signal reports, but nothing has been reported so far.
