Wasn't aware that you were going to TX last night, so had the RX array
pointed eastward as usual. While it has a very wide front lobe, there is
a null off the back side. It is pretty deep for low arrival angle
signals. John, VE7BDQ, is completely nulled out during the day when the
ground wave is arriving at a low angle, but at nite when the sky wave is
arriving over that short distance at a rather high angle, I hear him fine.

I expect your signal will be low angle so it would be necessary to point
toward you. When the pump goes quiet and later in the fall when I have
up the Beverages, it will be lots better.

BTW, with the current 6-8 hour delay in posts from the list, timely
reaction to announcements of activity are not possible.

If you can alert me if pending activity with direct email and do it
before I go to bed at 0500z, I will make sure to look for you.
