Ken, my thanks to you for managing the mailing list. I know what an irritant it can be, especially in an age of automated spoofing and attack. I really appreciate that you put up with those irritations to operate this great resource.

Gentlemen:
FYI, the list has been literally besieged by spoofers, spammers and hackers
attempting to subscribe to the list over the past several months.
I have gotten at least one such attempt every day during that period.
Today so far alone, I have had to reject and to ban from ever subscribing to
the list 5 such attempts.
This is getting to be a big PITA, but will have to continue until and unless
they finally, if ever, "go away".
In my carefully considered opinion, all spoofers, hackers and spammers
should be assiduously hunted down, with dogs if necessary, and summarily
executed.
Hang in there.

Indeed.
I have moderated a few groups over the years and keeping the crap out
needs a constant watchful eye.
Thank you kindly for all of your hard work doing what you do.

I'm getting multiple WSPR station decodes since I flipped the switch at
0230Z. That's pretty early, we should have a good night.
Last night I fired up JT9 and had at least two signals on the waterfall but
no decodes. Any suggestions??? I'm using XP. So far tonight no JT9
signals seen.
We should all be thankful for the work Ken does in providing this reflector.
A PITA indeed!
73, Rudy
