Thanks to John BDQ for the boat load of dedcodes on WSPR 2 on 600m last night - the PA is working fine and running virtually at ambient room temp after a 2 min run with 26V on the IRF640 "plate" @ around 100W output- its the U2 driving GW3UEP design modded for toroid versus air core and TC4426 driver -  we are running out of nighttime quickly here but will be on again tonight -  I might wind up the 500W W1VD unit but given the weather and wildlife I may leave it for a while. Ill be running a daylight CW beacon again on around 475kHz for the next few days
