It has been a while since anyone posted exactly what it takes to get a license for 600-meters.

I, and probably others, would appreciate having this information.

Was notified by John XIQ that my application was granted today,
I looked yesterday and figured would be another month of two at
least.
This was fast ,  applied on 3-5 and granted on 4-9..  WH2XCR

Have a transverter almost finished,  actually finished but mounting
in a decent box now.  Will be using a K3 on 10MHZ for the IF.  in
and out.

Will be working on building a "bucket" variometer and loading for
my 160 meter vertical.  It is over 240-300 ft plus radials so hoping
that someone on the mainland will hear me,  and will be listening
of course on various modes for you guys.  Hope we can copy
many of you out here, at least next fall season for sure.

Newbie so lots to learn,  thanks for the help so far,  73 Merv K9FD/KH6
