John,

It's been a blast and I appreiate you being there , You are my beacon
for all the antenna testing that I have been doing for the past year.
However I'm ready for some QSO's now.
I have added some top loading to the HB vertical and That took
about 20 turns off of the loading coil , That's got to help on TX and RX.
Also I have added a variable Cap with a 12 volt DC motor ( 2 rpm ) to rotate
The cap , now I can tune the SWR from inside the shack.
I am able to tune the full 472 to 479 KHZ band, and more.

Ken,

Its been great having you within 200 miles of me.  Judging by your consistent reception reports as well as those from others in your region, I think QSO's are going to be very easy with you guys.  I'm really looking forward to being able to QSO you guys at will someday.
