Now that my fingers aren't glued to a paddle; congrats to both of you.  
The QSB can be a real hurdle, but patience usually prevails.  Pat and I 
made it about 20 minutes tonight before his signal took a dive, about 
the time we ended it. XIQ and I have dodged waves of QSB during single 
QSOs, but I think the effort is part of the fun.

I'm still amazed at how well all the 1W ERP stations do. Hopefully after 
the dust settles from the ARRL160 and prep, I can get around to putting 
up a long planned broadside pair of K9AY antennas aimed west.  Broadside 
spacing will be about 1200 ft. Should have a better chance to copy Neil.
